Stephen Smedile "Handshake; a scherzo" is a fun piece for Soprano and Pierrot Ensemble because it brings back some of the earlier sounds from the information age were few of the sounds that are featured are some dissonant sounds on a touch-tone telephone which we recognize as "Mary had a Little Lamb" along with the famous "Captain Crunch" whistle. All of those sounds are blended in with this song and combines well with the "Lorem Ipsum" text. This piece would fit very well for a vocal recital.
